FAQs for 12V 24Ah lithium ion battery
It depends on how much load you charge it with, but in theory it can support a 1 amp (A) device for about 24 hours. As for the total battery life, lithium iron phosphate batteries are very durable, usually with a charge and discharge cycle life of 6,000 times, and can be used for 10 years under normal use.
You need to use a dedicated charger for lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) to charge. The connection is simple: connect the positive terminal of the charger (usually the red clip) to the positive terminal (+) of the battery, and the negative terminal (usually the black clip) to the negative terminal (-) of the battery. Then plug the charger into a power source. The dedicated charger will automatically complete the charging process and will usually stop automatically when it is fully charged.
You must use a 12V LiFePO4 charger. This charger has a specific charging mode (CC/CV - Constant Current/Constant Voltage) and an output voltage of approximately 14.4V to 14.6V. For a 24Ah battery, a charger with a charging current in the range of 3A to 8A (amperes) is recommended (approximately 0.1C to 0.3C of the battery capacity). Never use a normal lead-acid battery charger.
