Before you purchase, you need to confirm whether the size and terminals match.
The dimensions of our 12V 5Ah lithium iron phosphate battery are 2.76″D x 3.54″W x 3.98″H. Please measure the dimensions of your original battery compartment to see if the new battery can be installed in it. It is best to reserve some space.
Ours is an F2 plug-in terminal. If your device originally uses an F1 terminal, you may need to purchase an F2 to F1 converter.
Regarding voltage, this is a 12.8V lifepo4 battery with a nominal voltage that can power all 12V devices.
How to charge 12v 5ah battery
Many systems designed to charge 12V lead-acid batteries, such as your home alarm host, small UPS, or some motorcycle/toy car charging ports, have output voltages that can charge lithium iron phosphate batteries because the voltage ranges overlap.
However, we strongly recommend that you use a dedicated charger for lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4), or a smart charger that has multiple modes and explicitly supports LiFePO4 charging mode.
Dedicated chargers can provide the most accurate charging voltage curve (usually constant current to constant voltage, CC/CV) that is most suitable for lithium iron phosphate batteries, ensuring that the battery can be fully charged safely and quickly and reach its nominal cycle life.
Using an unmatched charger, especially those lead-acid chargers with imprecise voltage control or special recovery modes (such as equalization charging), runs the risk of overcharging, which may damage the battery or even cause safety issues.
It is not necessary or recommended to float charge the lithium iron phosphate battery after it is fully charged. If your charger cannot completely turn off the float charge function, please set its voltage as low as possible, such as around 13.5V to 13.6V.

It all depends on how much current (power) the device draws.
If the device draws 1 amp (A), it should theoretically last 5 hours (5Ah / 1A = 5h).
If the device draws 0.5 amps (A), it should theoretically last 10 hours (5Ah / 0.5A = 10h).
This mainly depends on how much current the charger outputs.
If you use a 1 ampere (A) charger to charge, it theoretically takes about 5 hours to fully charge.
Of course, you also have to consider the possibility of device damage during charging.
