How to select and install 12V 80Ah lithium battery
The size of our battery is 260*168*210mm. We have designed it to be close to the size of common lead-acid batteries on the market, such as Group 24 and 27. In many cases, it can be directly replaced.
Its core is the BMS (Battery Management System). It is like the brain of the battery, providing overcharge, over-discharge, over-current, short circuit, high temperature, low temperature protection, and cell balancing to ensure that every bit of energy is used safely and efficiently, which is the key to battery safety and longevity.
Most of the old chargers for charging lead-acid batteries are not suitable for charging lithium iron phosphate directly. It is best to choose a lithium iron phosphate smart charger with a charging voltage of 14.2V ~ 14.6V.
The lithium iron phosphate battery is solid and has no liquid inside, so it can be installed in any direction, standing, lying, or sideways. It supports multiple installation orientations.

The duration of the battery will be affected by the actual usage conditions and load size.
Under lower load, such as 40W, it can be used for about 24 hours.

Generally speaking, the charging time can be calculated using the following formula: Ah/A.
For example, if a 5A charger is used, a full charge theoretically requires: 80Ah / 5A = 16H.
Very safe. Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) is a very stable material. Our batteries have an intelligent protection system (BMS) that acts like a guard to automatically prevent various possible problems such as overcharging, over-discharging, short circuit, overheating, etc.
Most old lead-acid chargers are not suitable for directly charging lithium iron phosphate batteries because the charging voltage and method are different, which will affect the battery life and performance.
