Hongyitai produces lifepo4 battery pack 36V 50Ah and 36V 100Ah battery with sheet metal. All uses grade A lithium ion phosphate cell with 50Ah, not grade B battery cell. We don’t use battery from disassembling electric vehicle. See below details.

What you should know charging lifepo4 battery
Charger Selection: Always choose a charger that is compatible with LiFePO4 batteries to ensure appropriate charging voltage and current. For example, for a 36V 50Ah LiFePO4 battery, a 43.8V charger with a current range of 10~20A can be selected.
Charging Stages:
Constant Current and Voltage Charging: Charge with a 43.8V charger at a 0.5C rate until the voltage reaches 43.8V.
Constant Voltage Charging: Continue charging at 43.8V until the current reaches 0.05C. For a 36V 50Ah battery, the cut-off current is about 2.5A.

36V Lithium-ion battery production process
#1 Cell Selection
Select lifepo4 battery cells and ensure the appearance are good.
#2 Battery Sorting
Make sure that the capacity, voltage, and internal resistance of the selected cells are consistent.
#3 Arrangement & Assembly
Combine the required battery modules in a series-parallel manner.
#4 Spot Welding
The positive and negative terminals of the battery are connected via nickel tabs to form the desired capacity or voltage.
#5 Mounting Protection Board
Connect the protection board on the battery pack to ensure that its overcharge, overdischarge and short circuit protection functions properly.
#6 Packaging & Aging
Wrap the battery pack in a PVC or metal casing while charging and discharging to activate the battery pack performance.
FAQs for 36V lifepo4 batteries
Long Life: LiFePO4 batteries can provide up to 6000 charging cycles, greatly surpassing traditional lead-acid batteries, which typically offer 3000 to 7000 cycles.
Flat Power Output: They maintain a flat voltage curve, delivering consistent power throughout the discharge cycle.
Flexible Configuration: Our common 12V, 24V, 36V, and 48V batteries are composed of 3.2V cells assembled in series and parallel.
Not recommended. Lead-acid battery cells have a 2V voltage and use a three-stage charging method. In contrast, lithium battery cells have a voltage of 3.2V or 3.7V and are charged using methods like constant current and constant voltage. The charging principles of the two types of chargers are completely different.
We recommend using a lithium battery charger recommended by the factory.
Charge Storage: It is recommended to store at about 50% State of Charge (SoC).
Storage Temperature: Store in a cool, dry place, with temperatures between -10°C and +45°C.
Regular Charging: We recommend cycling the battery every 6 months to maintain its health.
Yes, Hongyitai LiFePO4 batteries can be charged to 100% because of the built-in protective board, and there is no risk of overcharging. But for the best service life, we recommend charging to 80-90%.
It is not recommended to completely discharge LiFePO4 batteries. Although Hongyitai LFP battery supports deep discharge, it is best to stop discharging at a level of 20%.
