Preparing of Raw Materials

Cathode Materials: Lithium cobalt oxide, lithium manganese oxide, lithium iron phosphate, etc.

Anode Materials: Graphite.

Electrolyte: Composed of organic solvents, lithium salts, and additives.

Separator: Made from polymer materials such as polyolefin.

Current Collector: Copper foil, aluminum foil, etc

Electrode Preparation

Coating: Evenly coat the cathode or anode active material, conductive agent, and binder.

Drying: Dry the coated electrodes to remove the solvent.

Rolling: Roll the electrodes to densify them and improve conductivity.

Cutting: Cut the electrodes to the required specifications.

Cell Assembly

Winding/Stacking: Wind or stack the cathode and anode electrodes and separator in a specific order.

Sealing: Place the wound or stacked electrodes into the cell casing and seal it.

Electrolyte Filling: Inject electrolyte into the cell.

Formation: Perform charge-discharge cycles on the cell to form a stable SEI film.

Module Assembly

Spot Welding: Connect multiple cells in series or parallel through spot welding.

Protection Board Welding: Weld the protection board onto the module to provide overcharge, over-discharge, and short-circuit protection.

Module Encapsulation: Encapsulate the module in a plastic or metal case.

Battery Pack Assembly

Module Connection: Connect multiple modules using connecting plates.

BMS Integration: Integrate the Battery Management System (BMS) into the battery pack for monitoring and management.

Enclosure Packaging: Encapsulate the battery pack in a sturdy enclosure.

Inspection and Testing

Appearance Check: Inspect the battery pack for any defects.

Performance Testing: Test the battery pack’s capacity, voltage, internal resistance, cycle life, and other performance indicators.

Safety Testing: Conduct safety tests for overcharging, over-discharging, short-circuiting, high temperature, and low temperature.
